Technology is the key to opportunity. At AMS Vans we are constantly unlocking doors that were once closed to our friends and customers. These innovations enhance the lives of those conquering limited mobility. The professionals at AMS have the keys to mobility vans and to keeping our equipment updated. We take pride in maintaining the latest technology established by our industry association, National Mobility Equipment Dealer’s Association (NMEDA). Not only are we NMEDA members, which allows us to install many types of mobility equipment, but we are also in the Quality Assurance Program (QAP).

Although we love adding the latest technology to our mobility vans, we believe that we should provide you with quality equipment. The AMS Vans lowered floor conversion is built according to NMEDA QAP guidelines by certified welders. Once the quality control team completes the final inspections a Radco label is then applied to the finished product. Our professional commitment is to provide you with strong, simple and safe conversions with the equipment necessary to facilitate an active lifestyle.

RADCO Certification

  • AMS is part of the NMEDA (National Mobility Equipment Dealer’s Association) Quality Assurance Program (QAP).
  • NMEDA QAP requires semi-annual independent inspections. These inspections are done to assure quality practices in engineering, welding, installation, training of employees, insurance, and record keeping.
  • RADCO conducts each inspection. Every conversion receives a RADCO label that ensures each step has been performed according to NMEDA guidelines and good practices.
  • AMS Vans is presently the only lowered floor conversion company that builds mobility vans under NMEDA QAP guidelines, complete with the RADCO label.

Crash Test Certification

Did you ever take a test without studying? Do you remember how fragile and nervous you felt? You will never have to feel that way behind the wheel of your van, because we have studied and taken the test for you. We are committed to making our converted mobility vans strong, simple, and safe.

  • Our AMS Vans Conversion units were built and crash tested at Transportation Research Center in East Liberty, Ohio – one of the top-rated testing centers in the USA.
  • In January 2000, we initialized production and built fully crash test- certified lowered floor minivans with resounding success.

Keeping you safe is our first priority. That’s why we invest in crash test certification for our conversion. The AMS Vans conversion is built in Norcross, GA, and each successive model has been fully crash tested to meet Federal safety standards. Our certification is on file with the RADCO. The test is over and the results are in. You are safe with us.
